The building itself – well, it’s one of those gorgeous old Tallinn structures that’s been completely renovated inside while keeping all the character. I actually loved hearing the church bells from St. Olaf’s in the morning instead of traffic noise.

What really sets this place apart is how they’ve managed luxury that feels lived-in rather than sterile. The spaces are generous (hence the name, I suppose), with those high ceilings that make you forget you’re in a centuries-old building. The kitchen was properly equipped – not just for show – which matters if you pick up anything from the Balti Jaam market down the hill. Honestly, the attention to detail reminded me why this place has that perfect 10 rating. Little things like heated bathroom floors in October, blackout curtains that actually work, and WiFi that doesn’t cut out every time someone in the next room opens Netflix. The beds are seriously comfortable too – I’m talking about that sweet spot between firm and plush that’s impossible to find at home.

Check-in was refreshingly smooth (they actually answered their phone when I got lost looking for the entrance), and parking – well, you’ll want to use the nearby lots rather than trying to navigate those narrow Old Town streets with a car. The whole area gets pretty busy during summer and around Christmas market season, but even then, once you’re inside, it feels like your own private corner of Tallinn. I’d definitely come back, especially in shoulder season when you get all the charm without the crowds and can actually enjoy those morning walks to Toompea Hill without dodging tour groups.

  wauw, wat een fantastisch appartement. Enorm hoge plafonds, zeer grote kamers, prachtig ingericht. Super keuken, sfeervol oud gebouw maar totaal gerenoveerde appartementen. En de locatie is geweldig centraal. Door het driedubbele glas in de ramen is het prima stil. De host is zeer attent en nog nooit zijn we zo verwend als aankomende gasten met een schaal met allerlei fruit, een koelkast vol met gratis drankjes, een perfect (duur) koffie apparaat met verse bonen, overal rituals zeep, shampoo/conditioner. Wat een luxe!
  
  What could be improved: er is geen airco dus ik hoop dat de host onze tips voor ventilatoren voor in de slaapkamers gaat opvolgen. Verder was alles werkelijk geweldig!!!
