You get all the charm of exploring the UNESCO stuff during the day, then come home to proper modern comfort. Plus, you’re close enough to places like Rataskaevu street for dinner without the tourist markup of staying right in the thick of things. It’s that sweet spot between authentic local living and vacation indulgence that’s surprisingly hard to find.
